The Beach Bear was perfect for our family. It is not only a beautiful spacious beach home, the location is perfect! It was like having our own private beach for the week. Kam (the property manager) was great to communicate with. The home was new and he was great about letting us know in advance that landscapers would be working outside a few days while we were there. Which I will add...the landscapers were extremely friendly and made sure they were not interfering with our vacation. When they left the property was even more beautiful. We rented a Golf cart in advance of our arrival which we ended up not needing, because the location was so great! You are only two blocks from Shipwreck and a short drive to Hunt's Oyster bar. We highly recommend both! Indian Pass Raw bar is also a must! So, if you are looking for a spacious beach getaway for your family. With the beach just steps from the house and with a pool to jump in after a day at the beach. The Beach Bear is the perfect place.

My husband's parents live on Simons Bayou off of 30A in Port St Joe. Our family has outgrown being able to stay with them for a week. So we will definitely be back next year.

This place was the perfect stay for our family vacation to Port St. Joe! Being able to watch the sunset from the porches was the best part! Close to very good restaurants and groceries. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating during our stay. Would most definitely recommend this spot for a family vacation to PSJ.
